| Baked Oysters
2 quart shelled oysters Box of saltine white crackers 1/2 pound of butter 1/2 cup of cream Juice of the oysters
Use large flat enamel baking pan; butter bottom of dish. Break crackers into small pieces, cover bottom of pan. Drain oysters and cover crackers with 1/2 of oysters next to each other. Cover oysters with cracker crumbs. Put butter on crackers. Put other half of oysters on top. Cover with crackers. Put butter and oyster juice on top. Bake at 350ºF. for 1/2 hour. |
