Combine the 1/3 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and sage, roll chicken in mixture. Brown in 2 tablespoons of butter, place in casserole. Sift the remaining flour, baking powder and salt together. Combine the eggs, milk and melted butter, add to flour mixture, stirring until smooth. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Makes 5 servings |
