Sauté minced garlic in olive oil, then brown ribs (cut into serving pieces) in oil and garlic. In a separate pan blend remaining ingredients and simmer until flavored are blended, 10 - 15 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs and simmer, covered, very slowly until tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Serves 3 - 4
