Country Fried Ham with Red Eye Gravy

1 large center cut ham slice, 1/2 inch thick
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of strong hot coffee

Slash the fat on edge of ham in several places. Place the ham in a hot skillet and brown on one side over high heat. Turn and brown lightly on other side. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until tender. remove from the skillet and place on a heated platter. Sprinkle salt in the skillet and add the coffee. Boil for 2 minutes, then pour over the ham. Serve with biscuits. Makes 4 servings
