Cold Oven Pound Cake 1 RecipesFromScratch.com8/28/06

3 cups of sugar
1/2 pound of margarine
1/2 cup of Crisco
6 eggs
3 cups of plain flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, mixed with the flour
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of lemon flavoring

Cream the sugar and shortening. Add the eggs and blend well. Add the flour and milk alternately to batter. Add flavoring. Pour into greased tube pan. Place in a cold oven. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350ºF.
