Combine the first 7 ingredients, make a well in the center of the mixture. Add the beer and egg substitute, stirring until the dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon the batter into a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 375ºF. for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan, let it cool completely on a wire rack. Makes 16 slices |
