| Sourdough Flapjacks
1 package of dry yeast 1/4 cup of lukewarm water 2 cups of lukewarm milk 2 tablespoons of sugar 1 teaspoon of salt 3 eggs, well beaten 1/4 cup of melted margarine 2 1/2 cups of flour |
| Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, sugar, salt, eggs and margarine. Gradually beat in flour until batter is consistency of thick cream. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Beat batter and spoon onto preheated, slightly greased griddle. Brown, turn and brown other side. Serve hot with heated syrup. |
