1 pound of ground beef 1/4 pound of ground pork 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs 1 cup of milk or cream 2 eggs 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 3/4 teaspoon of salt 3/4 teaspoon of dill weed 1/4 teaspoon of allspice 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg 3 tablespoons of butter |
| Broth:
One 10 ounce can of can beef broth 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 1/2 cup of light cream
Soak bread in milk 5 minutes. Mix meat, bread, milk, eggs, onions and spices. Refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls and brown in butter. Cover with broth in crock pot. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours or cook on High 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. |
