| Thai Flank Steak
1/4 cup of lemon juice 2 tablespoons of soy sauce 3/4 cup of barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes 1 flank steak (about 1 1/2 lbs.) Oil for grill Garnish: thinly sliced green onions |
| In small bowl, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes. Pour over steak, cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Remove meat; reserve marinade for basting. Place steak on oiled grill over hot coals. Close lid grill 15 to 20 minutes, turning once and basting with marinade during last 5 minutes. Cut cooked steak diagonally into thin slices. Bring remaining marinade to boil, then spoon over meat. Garnish with green onions. Makes 4 servings |
