| Peanut-Oatmeal Drops
3/4 cup of shortening 1/2 cup of peanut butter 3/4 cup of brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup of sugar, granulated 3 large eggs 1/4 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 1/2 cups of flour, unbleached 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 cup of oats, Quick-cooking Rolled 1 cup of peanuts, chopped |

Cream together shortening, peanut butter, and sugars until light and fluffy; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Blend in milk and vanilla. Thoroughly stir together flour, soda, and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in oats and peanuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF. for 10 to 12 minutes.
