| Spiced Carrots (.5 Pts)
1 pound of carrots 1 tablespoon of margarine 1 tablespoon of sugar substitute 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 2 tablespoons of parsley, chopped, or less to taste |

-= Instructions =- 1.) Rinse trim and peel carrots. Cut into 1/4" slices.
2.) Steam 15-20 minutes, until barely tender.
3.) In a skillet over medium heat melt butter or margarine until it bubbles. Add carrots and toss. Sprinkle on sugar and ginger or cinnamon. Toss lightly.
4.) Cook 1-2 minutes until glazed. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
